In 2008, a resourceful cooper repaired a leaking cask of Ceylon Arrack with some native Sri Lankan Teak wood they had to hand, instead of the usual Halmilla wood. This temporary alteration was promptly forgotten and the cask lost amongst our ageing stock.

After 16 years of aging, our good friend, Mr Lyan, was visiting our warehouses and sampling some casks when he tried this unusual spirit. Hailing it as possessing flavours unlike any other Arrack or spirit he’d tasted, he suggested we share it with the world!

We’re excited to be able to release this limited bottling of Ceylon Arrack Last Cask.
